ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
Since mid-2000, Berea has been implementing the plan developed by the Adult Sunday School Curriculum Committee and approved by the session that same year. The most recent plan offers a balance of variety among basic Bible book studies, doctrinal studies, and topics for practical Christian living. Class sizes range from small to large and vary in teaching format. Normally an Inquirer’s class is offered at least once a year. Specific topics offered over the past years include:
· Bible Study – Nehemiah
· Doctrine of God
· Strengthening Your Marriage
· How Now Shall We Live? (Colson)
· Bible Study – Daniel
· Dynamics of Church Leadership
· Responding to Conflict Biblically
· Another Gospel (Cults / World Religions)
· Bible Study – James: Thirst for Wholeness
· Great Men and Women of the Bible
· Bible Study – The Book of Hebrews

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL – 2’s
AND 3’s THROUGH SENIOR HIGH
In an ongoing effort to partner with parents in the spiritual training of their children, our Sunday School teachers worked very hard in their efforts to pass on truths of the Gospel, covenants and promises, the Lord’s Prayer, and showing Jesus to the littlest ones. In addition to our weekly Sunday School program we also have the following activities:
· A church-wide family picnic is held in June on our church grounds. It provides the entire church family with an opportunity to spend time getting to know each other in a fun atmosphere. There are games, prizes for all children, and great food and fellowship.
· In August we have a Children’s Ministries meeting to plan and prepare for the new year of teaching.
· Conferences for the teachers.
· Musical participation of the classes in both the Palm Sunday and Christmas Eve services.
· Activities to keep our focus on Christ’s birth during Advent.
